Our Common Faith
In Titus 1:4 the Apostle Paul speaks of "the common faith." In this phrase Paul is referring to a faith that is universal to all Christians. This common faith brings all Christians into what Jude 3 calls the common or universal salvation. This series is focused on those areas where all Christians should find themselves in the unity of this common bond.
If we are indeed Christians, then we ALL have the same common or universal faith and salvation. Our problem, and our solution, lies in the way we express or define this common faith to each other. We must learn to verbalize our COMMON FAITH in such a way that others will understand what we MEAN not just hear the words we say.
