We live in confusing times times which will become more perplexing as mankind progresses toward his fateful destiny with Armageddon. God has appointed a day in which He shall judge the Earth, and that day is here, it is even at the doors. This generation is living upon the threshold of eternity and judgment. "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God" (I Pet. 4:17).
Because of the life and death seriousness of the times we live in, I feel a responsibility to God Almighty and you to preach Jesus and the Gospel of His Kingdom by, "warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus" (Col. 1:28).
I also consider it a sacred trust to protect the faith, doctrine, and Gospel of Christ from false prophets and teachers who would pervert God's truth and turn it into a lie! "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers...Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not" (Titus 1:10 11).
Jesus, in Mark 13:22 23, describes future false Christs as miracle workers showing "signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect." In saying this, He is not talking about Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, or any of the non charismatic, exo christian cults. He is talking about pseudo Christs within mainline Christianity who will falsely represent Christ's gospel.
There are many such false teachers and prophets today coming as true Christians but in reality they are wolves in sheep's clothing. They convincingly claim to be full of faith, truth, and love; but in the end their teachings lead to destruction rather than edification. Their Jesus turns out to be another Jesus, and what they preach as Christ's Gospel turns out to be their gospel!
The things the Bible talks about in relation to the last days are upon us NOW! Yet many seem unable to see the forest for the trees! We need look no further than our own country, our own denominations, or beyond the end of our own noses to see the apostasy the Bible describes as rampant in the end time. Like the man who spent all day looking for his misplaced eye glasses only to find they had been upon his forehead all the time, we seem to be looking in all the wrong places while the truth is so close at hand.
These pages will not "touch" God's anointed for the teachers and teachings we will be examining are not of God. The teachings they teach are so far from the Gospel of Christ, the heart of Christ, and the mind of Christ that it is clear they have not heard God. Of such Jesus said, "He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God" (John 8: 47).
Throughout American Christendom the Gospel of Christ is swiftly being replaced by the Gospel of Self Interest. The best way to dispel this false gospel is a foundational study in truth. Our study will follow this outline:

III) The Nature of Grace
IV) The Gospel of Self Interest
A. Its god (the carnal man)
B. Its purpose (fulfill self)
C. Its goal (heaven on earth)
