Preparing disciples for The Days Ahead, a web project of Kingdom Ministries.

About Us

In 1978 with youthful zeal and the prompting of the Holy Spirit, Kingdom Ministries was formed with the intended purpose of bringing contemporary Christian music and ministry to the Charleston, SC area.

We began promoting concerts from the big name to the local artists and opened one of the first Christian music stores in Charleston. Later a coffeehouse was opened for more intimate ministry. But the Lord was showing the need for more in depth teaching from the Scriptures as well as more involvement with the needs of the community. This led to the opening of a food bank, a crisis pregnancy center, and eventually this small like-minded body of believers began regular Church services under the name Emmanuel Christian Fellowship.

Co-founder, Ron Gatrelle, felt the "fire in his bones" to preach and teach the word of God. With urgency he wanted to get across the importance of understanding the deity of Christ, true discipleship, and preparing for the last days before Christ returns. We hope to continue the urgency through this web site using his writings and sermons as well as insight the Holy Spirit reveals to us today.

Welcome to www.TheDaysAhead.org. Initially this site will focus on reprinting select publications and articles from Kingdom Ministries' archives to a whole new audience that needs encouragement and discipleship in their Christian walk.

"Encouraging Commitment" was below the title on every issue of The Good News which we printed. For our web site our theme is "Preparing Disciples for The Days Ahead." We believe that these are the last days, that Christ is even closer to returning than when we first believed, and that The Church throughout the world needs to be reminded of the truths of our gospel and our Savior.

But for this endeavor to be successful, we will need your help. While communicating the Good News on the world wide web is cheaper than printing thousands of newspapers like we used to do, it still cost money to host and operate the web site, and to promote it, to let people know about the valuable discipleship tool this site will be.
